Healthapalooza...

What was I thinking? So, my sisters, Mom & Dad, some in-laws are doing a family healthapalooza and I started my training today for a 5K race. I seriously could only practice for 10 minutes. I've only been done for 20 minutes and my body is sore. I know it will feel so amazing when my body is in shape and can run the distance I want. My family is just trying to get out and start moving and eating a little better. The biggest goal of my life is to have a flat stomach before I die. I have to make it happen. I'm tired of looking 3 months pregnant everyday. Ok, maybe I just look 2 months pregnant. Still, I have to get rid of my stomach and be in shape. I know it will give me more energy and hopefully won't be so tired.
What will you do this week to get out and move?
I wonder if a cheerful heart will be good medicine for strength to continue exercising?

Doctrine & Covenants "Cheerfully do all things." OKAY....I'm not sure the Lord meant preparing for a 5K. JUST KIDDING! I'll be your biggest cheerleader when you run.

The DVD I'm using is kickin my trash! I am so sore. I'm so out of shape. I have to rest in between things and watch for a minute. AND STILL I'M STIFF!!! And I doubt I'll loose any weight. It's still fun.
Have a great day.

Hi Janice,

thank you so much for stopping by my blog and for leaving your sweet comment. I think I need to learn what a healthpalooza is? ? ?! Right now my exercise consists of going up and down my stairs and packing things in my home for the move to Oregon. . .my excuse is that I am pregnant!!! :) hehe!

thanks again for your kind words!

Oh my goodness, I started running not too long ago, too! The first time I ran - I was sore all over! I didn't realize I was that out of shape, but I know running will definitely help me get into shape. Good luck!

Janice, you can do it! Seriously! When I first started running, which wasn't that long ago, I'd come home, flop down and think I was going to be sick every single time. It gets better, it really does!

Now as for the flat belly thing - well, unless mine is surgically enhanced someday, it just ain't gonna happen! ;) Can't you just wear a girdle like the rest of us? :)
