We're not in Arizona, anymore...

Holy Moly, we had our first soccer game and it was FREEZING!! I'm not just talking freezing I am talking through your bones freezing. I felt so bad for the girls playing. Their arms and hands were bright red and my poor girls were crying. We did not show up prepared at all. I had no clue it would be that cold. To be positive about it, we learned a good lesson...keep blankets and coats in the back of the van at ALL times!!
Moral of the story: If you don't live in Arizona, remember to be prepared for the cold.

Too True!
I am a baseball mom and it is cold in the spring. The other night I sat through a game for my youngest son with a coat on, a blanket wrapped around me and hot chocolate in my hand. I hear ya!!

If you do not have "Under Armour" for you girls it is a great thing to get. It goes under their clothes but it really keeps them warm and it is not bulky. Most kids in colder areas wear this and it just really helps;)

The good old days. They'll even play soccer while it rains! Just a warning.

Have a great day.

Yeah. I know what you mean. They have cancelled soccer 2 weeks in a row because of the storms for us.

I'm looking forward to 70's this weekend:)

Too true. We had a game at 8:00 a.m. 2 weeks ago - it was 33 degrees. All the blankets in the world were not helping - fortunately I had my winter coveralls in the Durango. The kids don't seem to mind - but I certainly do the older I get:)
